Veterans
West Common Lane Teaching Practice is an Armed Forces Veteran Friendly Accredited GP Practice
We are proud to be an Armed Forces veteran friendly accredited GP practice. This accreditation means that, as part of the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant, we have a dedicated clinician (Dr Thomas) with specialist knowledge of:
- Military-related health conditions
- Veteran-specific health services
This helps ensure that individuals who have served in the UK Armed Forces receive the care and treatment that is right for them.
If you have served in the UK Armed Forces, please let us know. This will help us ensure you receive the best possible care.
Our certificate of accreditation can be viewed by clicking here.
If you are a veteran, the King's Centre for Military Health Research and King's College London have released a signposting document which can guide you to support services for a wide variety of issues that you may be facing. The leaflet can be downloaded by clicking here.
